Welcome to Kew Music Academy, an exciting new summer school in West London for young musicians aged from 9 to 18 years old.
Led by our team of experienced professionals, the Academy aims to inspire young musicians in a fun and friendly environment. From Mozart to Miles Davis, we offer a balanced programme of ensembles and workshops.
Players will enjoy the experience of playing in an orchestra and jazz band while brushing up on essential theory and aural skills. They will also have the great chance of being directed by a West End pianist and vocla coach. Young musicians will also learn how to compose their own works and create their own tunes through improvisation.
Kew Music Academy has been established in 2012 by two dynamic and inspirational local musicians – James Hayes and Spencer Down.
The Academy is open to anyone who has reached Grade 2 or above. Spaces are expected to fill up fast, so please sign up now to avoid disappointment.
This Summer, the course is held from Monday 29th July to Friday 2nd August 2013 from 9am to 4pm at the Queens Primary School, Kew, TW9 3HJ (click here for map).
Prices start at £195 for the week if you book before Monday 1st July.

Food & Refreshments
Children need to bring their own packed lunch, mid-session snack and drinks bottle. We have a no sharing food policy. We respectfully ask for nut products (such as peanut butter, Nutella and bags of nuts) not to be placed in pack lunches.
